Hi again, its me, I am here to talk about a very special thing. It is the VERY last G.T project of the 2015-2016 year. YAYYY! All I can think about is summer! Anyways this is the best project of the year it is a music video! We have to make a story that goes a long with the song and that is probably the hardest part. So our story is pretty simple basically it is just about two kids, Kyla and Raiden, and they are setting out to look for a job, and they don't know each other. But when they go into another store they bump into each other, and lock eyes. However, since we are not aloud any boyfriend girlfriend stuff, they become really good friends. If you've ever heard this song it repeats the lyrics, "Don't stop believing" a lot. So when they set out to find a job they keep on having bad luck however, they...DON'T STOP BELIEVING!!! So that's how our story relates to this song. So in our music video we have been talking about, fast edit montages. So basically they are just like 2 second shots that are put together to make it look like there was a fast forward in time so that the viewer can see the change that the character has made throughout time. So, we had to make a fast edit montage ourselves to put in our music video. To be honest I don't Know too much about our fast edit montage or if we even have one because, when we started this project we split our team up so that two people were editors, Kyla and Jhoanna, in iMovie and then the other two, Denae and I, were the editors in Photoshop so that we could get things done faster and with us all doing some things to help the team at all times. So what I do know about our fast edit montage is that, we don't have one yet. But what we plan to do is, make a montage that shows the main character, Kyla, going to different jobs so that we can see that she is taking a lot of time to do this. And that's a little bit about, fast edit montages. In my opinion I think that this music video in particular , shows my highest quality of work for a couple of reasons. One being a lot of information that we just learned is fresh in my head so I am constantly thinking about those when I am filming and editing. Also, I am at the final point in the year that I have learned as much as I can learn and now I am showing it off. In a way it kind of puts some pressure on you. I mean like in the first couple of projects my teacher was a little bit more easy going, saying that oh you still have a lot more to learn this year. However, now, he can't say that anymore because now we have officially learned everything I could have possibly learned in this 2016 7th grade year. I am happy about it but it's still a little bit stressful. Anyway that's pretty much all about how I plan to showcase ALL of the information that I have learned this past 7th grade year.......FINALLY!!! So with that being said, GOODBYE until I am an 8th grader:) | DON'T STOP BELIEVING BY: JOURNEY Just a small town girl Livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy Born and raised in south Detroit He took the midnight train goin' anywhere A singer in a smoky room A smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on, and on, and on Strangers waiting Up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching In the night Streetlight people Livin' just to find emotion Hidin' somewhere in the night Workin' hard to get my fill Everybody wants a thrill Payin' anything to roll the dice Just one more time Some will win Some will lose Some were born to sing the blues Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on Strangers waiting Up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching In the night |
