In my opinion, I think that the final turned out great because we had a lot of interviews and everyone on our team helped out a lot. I am really happy with the way that this project turned out. Our team got a lot of great B-ROLL at the beach and we also got a lot of under water B-ROLL. For example, a girl on our team, Eden, took the go-pro on a boat and got video of dolphins and turtles and underwater coral, and that made our project turn out great.
To conclude with my critique on the project I would say that we could have spent a little more time on the B-ROLL. One of the biggest problems in our video was that in a lot of the B-ROLL. There was quite a lot of camera movement. We were able to stabilize the shots a little bit, but some shots were really "bouncy." For example, in a close up shot of the lifeguard tower it was really hard to keep the camera still because something was wrong with the tripod when we got it, but we were able to edit things out and keep it still. Aside from the camera movement, I thought that our team did a really good job at putting together a new story like that.
