Hi again its me we just finished are previous project and I really want to talk to you about it. So, this was probably the worst project of the year considering I worked with people I didn't know and didn't work with before, also I am not HUGE fans of some of them. Aside from that this whole project was being made in Photoshop with a tool that we have NEVER worked with before. Okay now getting on with how the actual project was. In my previous post I talked about our personal traits and how we try to incorporate those into our story. When we do our animation I develop the character that I am playing. I will just make sure that the message of this character being clumsy comes across very easily to the audience. I will make sure that the viewer knows that I am very clumsy by taking this character and animating me tripping in multiple places on multiple things. And that is how I we will try to exaggerate my characters' imperfections (being clumsy).
So our overall animation didn't end up to be that funny however I am still pretty proud of what we did accomplish. What we did accomplish was our life lesson. First we made sure that our dialogue could clearly be understood that there was one weird guy and he just wanted to make friends with the other two girls but at first they thought that he was weird. In the end they finally came around. What we did in our animation was build up to the part where he did fly to the other planet. We made the first 3 scenes on the his lonely planet to get a feeling of what life was like for him so that when he got to the other planet the audience related to him and really wanted him to become friends with the other two girls. Also this type of judgement happens a lot to a lot of different people who don't deserve it so in this animation that is what we tried to get at - to raise awareness about not to judge a book by its cover, because it might be different than what you thought it was going to be in the first place.
Like I said in the beginning of this post I told you that I worked with people on this project that I have NEVER worked with before. I didn't even talk to them until this project. Now I know that this is what my teacher was going for, but the way I look at it is that, I work with the people that I work with for a reason. So working with people I didn't know was challenging for me. I didn't know how they were with the amount of work that they were supposed to do. However, in the end I am proud of my finished product and although I didn't really get along with some of the people on my team we worked through it and got our work done because we realized that the faster we finish this project the faster we can get on with our lives. So that's just a little bit about what my last G.T project was. Challenging but doable.
