Hi, if you have read my last post titled, Animation Outtakes, you would know that our class has just started a new project, and the project is an animation story. Everybody has to do a story that one of the team members has experienced. Well our story is about Kacie. She had a big argument with her sister and her sister got so mad that she was going to move out of the house forever. And so now Kacie is told that she is able to go back and fix the mess that she made, so she goes back in time to tell her sister that she is sorry for what she did. I think that this story can really make a connection with whomever the audience may be.
Another part of the criteria for this project is that our story has a lesson. Our story does not have much of a lesson to it but what it does have is that you always have a chance to fix something. I really like this lesson because it teaches that the answer might not be right in front of you, you might have to go "look" for it but it is always there. The reason I like this lesson so much is that you can use it in a wide range of situations, and could take you far in life. And that is a little bit about our story in animation form.
No lets talk about our team. I would say hat our team has bee working together pretty well so far. I mean every team has its ups, and downs including us. For example our worst moment in my opinion was when we first started off this project. I had just gotten better from having a cold so I wasn't felling 100% and my team was not working so good because we had not really done anything and we didn't really know where to start. However we did have a lot of "up" parts to our team work too. For example, we had only 6 seconds when our two scene teaser was due and by the end of the next day with all of us working as hard as we could we had 32 seconds done. And in my opinion shooting 260 shots in one day and editing it all together is pretty good. So far we are almost there.
