Hi, well I will be talking about our most recent GT project that we did right before we went on our winter break. The assignment that we had to do is we had to make a movie trailer, and i have to say it sounds like a lot but it ended up to be really fun. We had to make up our own movie and make up our own movie trailer. My team was a group of four and with the amount of time that we had, I think that we did pretty good. The people that were on my team is Jayse, Kamalei, and Quinn. I think that overall our teamwork was pretty good. we worked together well, I mean of course we had some disagreements but aside from that we got a lot done.our trailer plan was pretty good too, and we finished it with some spare time too. We were also the first ones that were able to check out a camera to start to film. When Mr. Sanderl checked off our trailer plan he had no comments other then, " I think that you are ready to start filming " , so I think that was a good thing. I contributed quite a bit for our movie trailer because we did some filming at my house and I contributes to the editing part too.
There were not too many requirements for our movie trailer and these are them, it had to be at least 1min. and 30 sec. and at the most it had to be 2 min. and 30 sec. there also had to be at least 5 scenes, a voice actor, dialogue, Foley, text layovers, and a movie poster image that one of the teammates made on there own. The movie poster that our team chose was mine, but I thought that everyone did a pretty good job. We did meet all of the criteria, but we could have been a little more creative on our editing part. For example, we could have added some more cool effects to the beginning and to the end, we could have faded into our movie poster and faded back out. I personally thought that we did a good job, and worked together pretty good.
Finally we end almost every project with a class critique. I really do agree with the class critique because the team that I voted for to win, won and that movie trailer was Snoopy George. I thought that everybody's trailer had some room to grow but over all thought that we all did pretty good. I think that I learned a lot from this experience, not just how to use a camera in different ways, but how to work productively with your teammates. For example, Mr. Sanderl made us all work together to get everything done and made sure that each and everyone of us had a big part to do with our project, no one could get out of doing work as long as Mr. Sanderl was there.
