Well, in GT (gifted and talented) we were working on new project and it is for a television show called Hiki No. Hiki No is produced by students just like us from the islands in Hawaii. So my team is made up of four people, me, Arianna, Sophia, and Eden. We have chosen to do a news story on water safety. And from my point of view I think that our project is going fairly well we are just a little behind for the interviews, but our team is cooperating very well, speaking that we do not disagree on ideas and work together as a team to complete this challenging project.
When the camera is not rolling our team is pretty much just on the computer. For example when we are not working the cameras we are pretty much just editing/transcribing. Our team is always working together and cooperates well. When one of the team mates has an idea then we all will listen to them and keep an open mind about that idea, same goes with the questions all of the team members will work together to try find a solution. Another thing that our team does when we are not shooting footage is we are planning for the next day, what we are going to do, where we are going to meet and when. For this project we will have to do a lot of planning and will all need to cooperate with each other and stay flexible so we can get this project done on time. And that is what is going on when our team is not running the camera.
One thing that I could do to help my team more with this project is that I could learn more about editing so that I could do some more editing on my own. To me it is like I am always asking Arianna so many questions when we are editing so she has to take time off of what she is doing to help me do something that I cannot do on my own, so Arianna is not doing all of the things that she needs to do and is helping me instead. Another thing that I could do to help my team accomplish this project is to maybe try just a little harder to coordinate where we are going and when we are going to meet. Those are some of the things that could be improved in on behalf of me.
